Kumho Strengthens Platinum Network With Reworked Dealer In Adelaide’s North
One of South Australia’s longest established tyre dealers has changed hands and been renamed with the prospect of even better service for motorists in Adelaide’s north.
St Agnes Tyre and Auto in Ridgehaven was originally known as Tyremag for over 48 years before recently being taken over and renamed by new owners Simon and Renee Hoff.
St Agnes Tyre and Auto, just like its predecessor Tyremag, is still a local South Australian family-run tyre store and continues to be strongly aligned to
Kumho Tyre as one of the tyre brand’s Platinum dealers.
New owners Simon and Renee Hoff said buying the tyre dealership was a long term investment and bringing on very experienced store manager Darren Brealey will make the day-to-day operation a pleasant one for customers who come into the store.
“Darren has been in the tyre game for 25 years and actually started his career in tyres at the old Tyremag, so what he doesn’t know about tyres isn’t worth knowing,” said Simon Hoff.
“We decided to re-brand and freshen up the look of the business when we took over and we will continue to have a close relationship with Kumho Tyre as a Platinum Dealer,” he added. “It makes sense as far as we are concerned, Kumho makes fantastic tyres, they are easy to deal with and they have made us very welcome as part of the Platinum Dealer network.”
St Agnes Tyre and Auto is a tight knit team with Darren running the operation day to day with assistance from mechanic Shane and tyre fitter Joel, while Renee Hoff looks after accounts and finances in the office.
“It really is a fantastic team, and we are going to continue to offer great customer service and to grow and build the business as Adelaide’s leading Kumho dealer,” Simon said.
According to Kumho Tyre Australia’s National Retail Operations Manager, Paul Deer, the company welcomes Simon and Renee Hoff to the Kumho family and for the boost they bring to the Kumho network in South Australia.
